Every month at Nuclead we ship a large variety of lead based products such as Lead Extrusion, Lead T-Caps, Antimony Lead, Lead Wire.

Here are some of the items we shipped recently to customers around the world.

Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services.

Nuclead also has metals analysis capabilities such as nondestructive XRF (X-ray fluorescence) testing.

Nuclead’s has extensive experience in custom precision engineering. Nuclead can cast any standard lead alloy or any custom alloy to your specifications. We can machine your product to your drawings. Nuclead also provides stamping and cutting, lead welding and lead assembly and lamination services.

Nuclead ran a Dun and Bradstreet (“D&B”) credit report on a potentially new customer. Nuclead offers many payment methods including credit cards and PayPal; along with open credit terms. Nuclead uses D&B as their credit source to offer open credit terms to approved customers. This customer wishes to purchase lead acrylic and machine it to specifications.

Fabricated Lead Products

  • Fabricate lead extrusion, description Lead wire: 3/8″ Dia. x 25 lb spools: Sold to an OEM Valve service company that uses the materials for checking clearance on gas compressors in Oklahoma. The soft lead has the required chemical properties to allow it to be cut and pressed in the cavity to be inspected afterwards.
  • Extrude lead and ship: Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 2″ wide x .937” joint depth x (Ref: Approx; Two 9′ long lengths per 25# billet extruded); Type A = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #07656-01 & #765601S

  • Extrude pure lead and ship 2,000# of Pure Soft Lead foil: 0.005” x 1″ x 200’, pure lead; *COO*: United State of America: HS code 7804.11; per NAFTA Affidavit Certificate on file with Nuclead’s Exsisting customer. This item is used for pump manufacturing as lead gasket material.
  • Fabricate and ship per customer provided blue print and fabricated out of Nuclead in stock inventory of 3% antimony lead sheeting. This item is a specialty made D-Spacer. This customer in Texas uses the lead spacers for oil and gas line pipe testing and leak control.
  • Fabricate and ship Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 2″ wide x .937” joint depth x (Ref: Approx; Two 9′ long lengths per 25# billet extruded). Type A = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #07656-01 & #765601S. https://www.gsa.gov/portal/content/113862 : Sold to a restoration company in New England for a church project.
  • Fabricate and ship two separate item numbers of 3.50% antimony lead seals per customer blue prints. These items are used as seals in the electronics industry.
  • Fabricate and ship 3,000# of 5/16″ lead wire cut to customer blue prints. This item is used for leads heavy & soft mechanical properties for a medical OEM in Pennsylvania.
  • Fabricate and ship Babbitt, #4 Hardware Babbitt: 1-2Fabricate and ship Lead foil: 0.008″ (+/- 0.0005″) x 12.00″ x 50#

    Alloy: Commercially pure lead Per ASTM-B29 = or greater to 99.95% Pb

    Conforms to ASTM B 29 and shall be comprised of dead soft lead foil that is 99.95% pure at a minimum per UNS L51121 per ASTM B29. Package with End Caps required. Sold to a packaging company in Pennsylvania.

    Tin/ 12-14% Antimony/ Balance Pb. Sold to a Marine Repair company in Louisiana for dry dock repair of a vessel.

  • Fabricate and ship Lead Sheetrock, 48″ x 96″:1/32″ Lead Sheeting, Bonded for installation purposes only, to; 5/8″ sheet rock. Sold to a contractor supply house in New England for resale.
  • Fabricate and ship, Nuclead Cast lead brick. Several Qty’s and sizes for a machine shop in New England, for its own value-added services.
  • Custom lead glass: per customer specifications and ship: Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly; 9.00″ x 15.00″ x 7-8mm x 1/16″Le x 150kv. Sold to a General Contractor in South Carolina for installation at a local medical facility.
  • Nuclead ships fourth release of five received this year for Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems Orders: Aerospace & Defense Customer Places multi-release contract for an order of machined sound proofing items using Syntactic SADM Foam Materials: Nuclead shipped 4 releases of 5 this week of a purchase order received last quarter; of machined sound-proofing components for the Low Cost Conformal Array (LCCA) being manufactured by Lockheed Martin’s Maritime Systems & Sensors( MS2) Undersea Systems business for the U.S. Navy’s submarine force.
  • Provide a free sample of Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 2″ wide x .937” joint depth x (Ref: Approx.; Two 9′ long lengths per 25# billet extruded).

  • Cut and ship Lead sheet: 1/32″ x 96.00″ x 291.00″ and Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly. 12.00″ x 5.00″ x 7-8mm x 1/16″Le x 150kv. This package was sold to a doctor’s office in New York for their x-ray rooms’ shielding purposes.
  • Cut and ship Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly. 11.75″ x 23.75″ x 9mm x 5/64″Le x 150kv. Sold to a general contractor in New England for a new hospital room in Massachusetts.
  • Saw and ship Lead sheeting: 1/32″ x 8.00″ x 20.00′: Sold to UCSF Neurology Department for radiation shielding of a research project.
  • Saw and ship Lead Sheet: 1/4″ x 0.625″ x 16.125″ (+ 0.125″/ – 0.000″). Sold to a machine shop in New England for its own value-added services.
  • Pick and ship for in stock inventory: Lead pipe: 6.00″ id x 5/32″ wall x 61″ lg. Sold to a Mass transit authority in the North east for electrical shielding purposes.
    Pick and ship Re-claimed Lead shot/balls: For Re-loading, Lead Ballast, Re-melting, or Misc. weight/Ballast: Misc. sizes & grades. Sold to National Park service for miscellaneous weight.
  • Cut and ship Lead sheet 4mm thick x 24.00″ x 30.00″: Sold to a testing lab in Colorado.
  • Pick and ship 1,000# of Lead Wool per QQ-C-40: Sold to a reseller in Indiana for an unknown customer.
  • Pick and ship from inventory: Lead Plate: 1/2″ x 4.00″ x 40.00″: Sold to a repair company for unknown purposes.
  • Pick and ship: Lead screw shield(s), 1/16″; Sold to a general contractor in Wisconsin for unknown radiation shielding project.
