Custom Fabricated Lead Products
Nuclead provides value added services that allow us to custom fabricate lead products and other metal products to your specifications, you can see many examples of lead fabricated products in this report including
- Fabricate and ship 2,000 lbs. of .010″ x 16″ x 50 lb. coils of pure lead foil. Sold to a packaging OEM in Connecticut.
- Fabricate and ship 6″ diameter lead bar stock. Sold to a government sub-contractor in Appleton, WI; to be used to make machined items per blueprint specifications.
- Fabricate and ship lead shielding foil, with vinyl and Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) applied. Sold to a CAT scan imaging OEM in Vermont
- Fabricate and ship 23 special sized lead elevator weights to a repeat elevator service customer in Massachusetts. This customer uses the custom weights for elevator certifications and maintenance.
- Fabricate and ship Genuine Babbitt, Grade Two, for an oil & drilling company to repair rig bearings in Ocala, FL
- Fabricate lead weights to customer blue prints and specifications. Nuclead fabricated a total of 6,280 lbs. of varies sizes and items for an oceanography company conducting Subsea testing in Louisiana.

Also, we have one of the largest lead products inventories in the USA, we are able to ship many items from stock, for example
- Shear to size from in stock inventory, .016″ thick lead foil. Sold to Brigham & Women’s Hospital for their Proton Therapy Center. The materials will be used for shielding purposes.
- Pick and ship from in stock inventory, lead wool blankets per QC-C040, type II, grade C. Sold and used to a Imaging clinic in Waltham, MA
- Shear and ship .040″ lead shielding. Sold to a Radiation Oncology center in North Carolina for radiation shielding.
- Shear to size, 2.5mm thick lead shielding. Sold to a third party buyer for an Aerospace OEM in Middletown, CT
- Pick and ship re-claimed lead shot. Sold to a boat owner in Connecticut for ship ballast.
- Pick and ship from in stock inventory: Pure lead wool per QQ-C-40; and sold to a propeller company in California.
- Pick and ship lead sheeting, sold to a regional medical distribution company in the northeast of America. Shipping to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for lead shielding.
- Pick and saw and ship lead sheeting, sold to NASA Plum Brook Station for a research and development program.
