We have a new team member at Nuclead this week. Nuclead has hired an inside sales manager he has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, and should be a valuable asset to the company. He will also be working on outside sales.
Here are some of the shipments that we made last week:
- Fabricated and shipped special long, lead gutter outlets to a general contractor; in Osterville, MA. Nuclead uses high quality copper lead pipe to fabricate lead gutter outlets, for special orders we can fabricate lead gutter outlets up to 60 inches long to you specifications.
- Nuclead has one of the largest inventories of lead products in the USA. As a result we often receive orders for in stock lead from other machine shops that will use the lead products in their own manufacturing or construction. This week was no exception. Here are a couple of examples:
- We sawed & shipped lead plate for a machine shop in London, OH for its own value added services. Nuclead can supply pure lead plate and antimony lead plate in any size ranging from 1/64?-3? thick x 1/8?-96? wide x lengths up to 25?, depending on your sound reduction material, radiation sheeting or x-ray plate needs
- Nuclead extruded, Sawed & ship lead bar stock for a machine shop in Cincinnati, OH for its own value added services. Nuclead supplies lead bar stock as lead rounds (up to 6 inches diameter), lead flats (up to 1.5 inches thickness), or lead pipe (up to 10 inches in diameter).
- We also sawed and shipped lead sheet to a millwright company in Springfield, MO. Millwrights install heavy industrial machinery, usually with tolerances of thousands of an inch. The types of equipment installed include conveyor systems, electrical generators and cyclotrons. The lead sheeting supplied by Nuclead, may be used for radiation shielding or as lead soundproofing for noise reduction.
