Custom Fabricated Lead Products
Nuclead provides value added services that allow us to custom fabricate lead products and other metal products to your specifications, you can see many examples of lead fabricated products in this report including lead sheet for lead shielding, lead glass for X-ray windows, lead blocks for X-ray protection, and custom machined lead items using antimony lead alloy AMS-7721.
Several examples of recent shipments follow:
- Nuclead cut, fabricated and shipped lead x-ray glass with lead lined window frame. This was sold to a doctor’s office for their x-ray room in El Centro, CA
- Fabricated and ship lead shielding, which was sold to a funeral home OEM in Big Lake, MN
- We fabricated and shipped a group of 4% antimony lead blocks which were sold to a rail road company in Round Rock, TX for an x-ray radiation environment that is part of their security system for screening cargo.
- Nuclead fabricated and shipped lead foil with Pressure sensitive tape (PSA) applied to one side for the University of Wisconsin
- We fabricate standard 2″ x 4″ x 8″ Nuclead Cast lead brick, and sold to Alco in Lafayette, IN
- Nuclead also fabricated and shipped custom machined lead items for the aerospace industry from customer blueprint. The lead items are made using AMS-7721 stock. They were shipped and sold to a government defense sub-contractor in Mississauga, ON Canada.
- Fabricated and shipped 1″ flat lead weathercap t-caps which were sold to a general contractor in S. Richmond Hill, NY for a restoration project.
- Nuclead fabricated pure lead anodes and sold them to a plating house in Yuma, AZ
- Fabricated and shipped per customer supplied blue prints, custom lead elevator weights. Customer required items to ship in less than one week, and we expedited delivery for them. They were installed into buildings in Boston, MA.
- Nuclead fabricated and shipped pure extruded lead bar stock. Sold to an architectural landscape company fabricating boxes and cabinet in New York State.
From Inventory
Also, we have one of the largest lead products inventories in the USA, we are able to ship many items from stock, for example:
- Nuclead pick and shipped lead wool filled lead blanket for radiation protection. This was sold to a publication OEM in Sherbrooke, QC Canada.
- We cut and shipped lead shielding. This was sold to a veterinary hospital for their x-ray room in Cary, NC
- Picked and shipped .002″ thick pure lead foil from in stock inventory. It was sold to a Medical Pharmaceutical & Immunodiagnostics OEM in New England.
- Nuclead picked and shipped 1/2″ lead shielding, which was sold to a X-ray Imaging OEM in San Jose, CA
- Picked and shipped .005″ lead foil, sold to University in St. Louis, MO for research and development
- We picked and shipped 1lb of lead dust; sold to a Science and Technology lab in San Jose, CA for a sample testing. If successful full orders will be pending.
- Picked and shipped pig lead, for a Scallop fisherman in Monument Beach, MA; for ballast for his vessel.
- Nuclead picked and shipped pure musket lead which sold to a re-enactment regiment organization in E. Weymouth, MA that fabricates the materials into custom musket balls for antique weapons.
- We picked and shipped lead shot dust for a wire manufacturer in Simcoe, ON Canada. These products will be used for testing purposes
- Nuclead also picked and shipped pure pig lead ingots from in stock inventory and sold them to a machine shop in Woodwark, OK for its own value added services.
- Picked and shipped from in stock inventory, 6% antimony lead ingots. These were sold to a machine shop for its own value added services in Blaine, WA.
