Department of Energy requires custom Lead Bricks
Cambridge, Mass., January 4, 2010 – Nuclead Mfg Co Inc, a leader in shielding technology, material, fabrication and services, announced today the receipt of an order for the US Dept. of Energy of custom lead bricks. The bricks will be machined and assembled per specified blue prints that they provided and finished.
"The US Department of Energy is having Nuclead produce custom shapes and sizes of lead brick," said Dennis M Raymondo, Nuclead Mfg Co Inc’s Chief Operations Manager. "The brick will be produced, assembled and finished per supplied blue prints. Our custom machining capabilities allows us to fabricate the brick to a high tolerance and quality that is unmatched in the industry”, he said.
