This week Nuclead performed a material analysis on a customer supplied item the testing and report included Non-destructive X-ray testing, metals analysis, gamma ray inspections including 2 sigma standard deviation. The report was sent to a manufacturer in Fairfield, NJ.

Precise gauge measurements

CMM
Our Quality Control department has CMM capabilities to QC your products accurately – resolution up to .00005? and calibration to .0001?. All equipment and gages are calibrated to NIST standards as per our ISO 9001:2015, accredited Quality Manual
Gamma Inspection
Nuclead can provide gamma scan inspections and gamma tests to your specifications. From small items to large nuclear casks, our gamma scan tests will provide as detailed a report as your product requires, including compliance with x-ray shielding and radiation shielding safety specs.
Metals analysis and element analysis
Nuclead has recently added the capability to perform Nuclead’s metals analysis and element analysis via a mobile XRF analyzer which provides accurate, reliable elemental analysis of any sample. This analyzer can perform many types of analysis including
- Metal alloy analysis
- Scrap metal sorting & recycling
- Positive material identification (PMI)
- Toy lead testing
- Precious metals & jewelry analysis
- Cadmium & lead testing in jewelry

Our Quality Control department can supply customer’s individual quality reports as per our Quality Manual. All reports conform to ISO 9001:2015, accredited standards and requirements.

This week Nuclead also picked and shipped from in stock inventory pure pig lead to be used for boat ballast to a boat manufacture in Marblehead, MA, and we also picked and shipped from in stock inventory lead wool to a Contractor HAVAC in Odessa, TX.
