The products are to be used in building restoration and renovation projects and were delivered to customers throughout the United States and Canada.
About Lead T-Caps
Lead T-Caps are extruded lead strips, that have a “T” shaped cross section. They typically come in lengths of a few feet and can be cut to size with shears. The size of the T-caps is defined by the depth of the “T” and the width of the “T” cap, which is usually flat. Typical depth is 1/2” to 15/16” and typical width is 11/16” to 2 “.
T-Caps are typically installed in gaps in masonry buildings, such as the tops of walls where movement is occurring and weather damage is present. When set and bedded in caulking compound/sealant, the lead T-cap forms a cap which assures a permanent elastic seal for any masonry joint. After installation, the surface oxidizes rapidly to a neutral grey which blends with the masonry.
They are also called lead tcaps, lead t caps, lead weather cap, lead tees or lead channel weather-stripping.

- Extrude and ship Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 25# min. buy required; Type A = Flat cap 1.50″ wide x .812″ joint depth – Three 7′ long lengths per 25# billet extruded). Shipped to a General contractor in Virginia for a restoration project.
- Three repeat orders to a general contractor in Canada for Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x .812″ joint depth x (Ref: Approximately Three 7′ long lengths per 25# billet extruded). Type A = Flat cap. This contractor uses the weather-caps for stone flashing and buys from Nuclead regularly.
- Fabricate and ship third recent order of Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1″ wide x .687″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s). Type A = Flat cap: Sold to a mason in New England for restoration projects.
- Fabricate and ship Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1″ wide x .687″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s); Type A = Flat cap. Sold to a Masonry Company in New England for a preventative maintenance project in New Hampshire
Lead Gutter Outlets
- Pick and ship 2″ Lead Gutter Outlets @ 30 Pieces per carton: Sold to a maintenance supervisor in New England to repair historic buildings wooden gutters.
- Fabricate and ship 2″ lead gutter outlets. Sold to an individual for maintenance repair to their shop in Holden, ME
- Fabricate and ship 1.75″ lead gutter outlets. Sold to National Park Service for maintenance repair to their facility in California.
- Fabricate and ship special long lead gutter outlets. Fabricate 30″ long x 2″ diameter lead gutter outlets and sold to a roofing company in Massachusetts for a restoration project.
Other lead products used in Renovation
- Pick and ship from in stock inventory: Lead wool per QQ-C-40; sold to a general contractor in Woodstock, NY. This product is being used as flashing caulking in brick chimneys.
- Fabricate and ship several tons of special sized lead flashing. Sold to a building distributor in Pennsylvania
- We fabricated and shipped per customer specifications, Special cut lead flashing for custom window designs, this was shipped to a window manufacturer in Pittsburgh, PA
Glass cut, box and ship: Lead Glass: (provided for customer preparation and/or assembly) 11.75″ x 23.75″ x 7-8 mm x 1/16″Le x 150 kv. Sold to a local construction company working on a medical center renovation.
