Lead sheetrock is also known as lead drywall or lead gypsum. Drywall panels are pressure laminated to continuous lead sheets using permanent adhesive. The resulting panels are secured to the studs using drywall screws with lead screw shields (lead disks) attached and lead seam filler tape across the seams to prevent radiation leakage.
Typically, the lead sheet side is mounted towards the studs with overlap on the lead sheet to ensure that there are no gaps
The other form of this product is lead lined plywood, typically the lead sheet is incorporated into the layers of the plywood rather than being attached to the surface. Lead lined plywood is usually employed for applications involving higher radiation levels. The plywood can typically support a thicker, and hence heavier, layer of lead sheet.

- Fabricate and ship Lead Sheet Rock, 48″ x 96″: 1/16″ Lead Sheeting, Bonded for installation purposes only, to; 1/2″ sheet rock. Sold to a general contractor in Brooklyn, NY for a radiology room.
- Nuclead fabricated and shipped a large construction package to a general contractor who is working on an x-ray room in Newington, CT. The package consisted of lead x-ray glass, lead lined sheet rock, lead lined window frames, and lead flashing rolls.
- Lead lined sheetrock: sold to an animal hospital in Fairfax, VA for their x-ray room.
- Nuclead fabricated and shipped a lead shielding construction package consisting of Lead lined sheetrock & leaf flashing. This was shipped to a general contractor in Long Island City, NY
