Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Recent Shipments
- Cut Lead Glass, provided for customer preparation and assembly. 55.625″ x 47.75″ x 8.5-9.5mm x 5/64″Le x 150kv. Shipped to a glass company in Virginia for a hospital project required x ray glass for radiation protection. The commercial lead glass will be used as x-ray glass for the new radiation department. You can assemble directly to lead wall panels with lead lining & wooden frames built on site, or purchase with Nuclead lead lined frames to prevent leakage. Nuclead also provides lead lined drywall for this procedure if the contractors wish.
- Cut Lead sheets 0.020″ x 24.00″ x 24.00″ and shipped to a power plant in Pennsylvania. The lead for sale will be used as radiation shielding. Lead bricks can also be used to produce lead walls when more radiation protection is required. This application is used to protect just other equipment and is very thin.
- Pick and ship Lead Wool per QQ-C-40. Sold and delivered to a plumbing supply house in Iowa. The lead wool caulking is used as lead wool for plumbing to prevent leaks on steel drainpipes and other commercial and industrial applications.
- Cut Lead Glass Provided for customer preparation and assembly. 23.26″ x 75.19″ x 7-8mm x 1/16″Le x 150kv. Delivered lead lined x ray glass to a general contractor that specializes in medical facility construction in Florida. Radiation shielding glass is used as x-ray glass to protect people and equipment during operations. Lead glass for x ray rooms allows this protection without high cost as other materials such as lead lined acrylic.
- Cut and ship Lead Glass: Provided for customer preparation and assembly. 13.88″ x 18.38″ x 3.3mm (1/8”) Le x 17mm thick: 200 kV: LX Laminated, 7mm+9mm. Sold and delivered to a Pharmacy manufacturer in Florida as radiation protection for quality assurance process. The x ray glass is used to protect people and equipment during the process.
- Extrude non-ferrous metals to comply with Lead 4% – 7% Antimony Round Bar, 4.00″ Diameter x 60.00″ Long. The Antimony alloy is certified and sold to a machine shop in California for their own value-added services.
- Cast lead to produce Pure Caulking Lead: Five count of Virgin 5# ingots. This bulk lead order was sold and delivered to a mining equipment OEM in Illinois for their assembly process. The company uses the lead sold as lead gaskets and must be pure lead and certified the same.
- CNC machine antimony lead sheeting to customers specifications of 0.044” – 0.048″ x 6.420″ – 6.405″ OD. The AMS-7721 Antimony Lead plate is certified and delivered to a machine shop in New England for unknow fabrication processes. This commercial customer required quality control documentation per our ISO standards.
- Cut lead rolls to 1/16″ x 5.00″ x 291.00″, this lead sheeting order was delivered and sold to a door company in New York. They require this lead shielding product for radiation protection for any gaps in the lead lined door assembly process. The lead doors and walls were purchased by them at an earlier consignment. This company buys all of its lead construction material from Nuclead for its quick service and quality expertise.
- Cast Square edges, Lead Brick: 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″. Sold poured lead items to an oceanographic institute for ballast weight during deep sea operations. The lead bricks are coated to protect people and the environment.
- Pick and ship Pure bulk lead Pig ingots, Approximate 30# – 70# lead ingots. Approximate size: 3.50″ x 4.00″ x 22.00″, loaf shape. Delivered by Nuclead trucking to a local marina for boat ballast. The lead weight can also be used as ship ballast in larger quantities. These pure lead ingots for sale work for this customer individual needs. Lead weights are the best materials for ballast, as it is one of the densest metals available. Bulk lead for sale is common for lead boat ballast.
- Produce Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 40′ spools. “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #452001S & #765601S. Sold and delivered to a glass and architectural metals company in Illinois for lead waterproofing during glass installation. The chief building engineer specified Nuclead as the vendor for this emergency project of a large building. Pure lead products provided for this lead t caps order was specified in the order.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 2.00″ wide x 15/16″ joint depth x 25lb lengths. “Type A” = Flat cap. Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #452001S & #765601S, were delivered to a company that specializes in Terra Cotta and Stone Restoration. The lead billets used to produce this large order was a lead alloy per customer written specifications. Nuclead’s’ Lead weathercap are used as weather protection for this restoration project in Wisconsin. Nuclead’s lead products again are specified buy the engineer for this project.
- Produce 1.75″ Lead Gutter Outlets at 40 pieces per carton using seamless lead tubing. The lead pipe product was ordered and delivered to a national hardware distributor for sales throughout the county. Lead construction materials have been used for this and other building applications for hundreds of years as it lasts a very long time.
- Pick and ship Pure lead Pig ingots, 30#-70# ingots and delivered to a local, commercial fishing lure company. The industrial lead fishing weights will be used to fabricate many custom fishing products for commercial fisherman. The custom will produce these lead items by lead smelting at their own facility. Nuclead provided custom lead fishing molds with the order per blueprints provided.
- Cast lead bricks using per Refined lead (Pb), low bismuth (Bi) low silver (Ag) pure lead grade per ASTM B29-19. The extremely pure lead used to produce these lead blocks for sale are certified and in-stock for immediate delivery. Nuclead can produce theses along with a lead alloy for any of its lead bricks for sale per customers custom specifications.
- Provide Free Samples, Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x Approx. 12.00″; “Type B” = Inside 90-degree corner cap, to a waterproofing company in Oregon for testing and evaluation.
- Produce and deliver lead soundproofing sheets. The lead sheeting sizes were (1.15#) 0.020″ x 48.00″ x 240.00″. They were also re-roll mill fabricated product onto one solid fiber core. The EM supplies special soundproofing products to Lockheed Martin and other government sub-contractors. Lead sheeting can be the best choice for its dense properties as it does not take as much space in tight situations such as submarines as other material can. Lead plate and lead sheet also provide better protection than other materials also.
- Pick for customer will call, Stock-Scrap Lead chips, dross, foil, solids, reclaimed shot and/or shavings, For lead racing weight and ballast. Provided in mixed sizes, debris & grades, as the lead materials for sale are just for handicap purposes and do not have to be pure. Lead racing car weights are required for all professional racing. Any type of salvaged lead can be used for this application.
- Pour lead into Cast Lead Round Stock Per QQ-L-171 GRADE A, 2.44″ dia x 13.00″ long. Sold to a machine shop in Florida for their own value-added service. Lead smelting is required to produce these lead products. The lead smelter must follow strict processes to produce the lead items without voids or crakes.
- Fabricate and ship 2″ Lead Gutter Outlets @ 30 PCs. /Carton. Delivered to a national distributor of hardware store supplies. Lead tubing or pipe is used to form the in-stock lead items into the proper shape for the end consumer or contractor use on the job site.
- Extrude Lead square bar stock: 3/16″ x 3/16″ x 600.00″ coils. Sold and delivered to a commercial food production equipment OEM. The lead products will be used as lead shims or lead gasket materials during their assembly processes. These commercial and industrial lead products can be fabricated by Nuclead into any custom sizes or quantities. The lead bar stock is produced for lead ingots poured in our plant, then extruded. All the lead rods and lead bars Nuclead produces is ASTM specifications and documented for the customer if required.
