Lead Weights
- Cast pure lead into special sized lead weights: Sold “Nuclead” Brand, Cast Square Edges Lead brick: 3.00″ x 6.00″ x 12.00″. These lead weights were sold to an Aircraft interior OEM in the southern states, which uses the lead brick for weight to simulate cargo load and balance.
- Fabricate and ship lead crank shaft counter weights per customer blueprints. Nuclead was required to CNC mill the items to hold tight machined tolerances and ship the lead counterweights to industrial pump OEM in the Midwest.
- Pick and ship Scrap Lead solids &/or sheet: For Misc. Weight/ Lead Ballast: Misc. sizes & grades. Nuclead sold one ton to a race car team, in the mountain states; for lead racing weights.
- Fabricate and ship lead weights 60 lbs. each; Pig Lead, Size: 3.00″ x 4.00″ x 12.00″lg; Profile:54 Preference Code 9290 MCC:316- Source code 66: Per QQ-L-171 Grade B; Encapsulate with high build epoxy; Devoe, Devran #235; Coating to be black color, 8.0 mils thick & cured; Weather proof packaging. Ship to General Dynamics to be used as ballast at one of their vessel fabrication plants.
- Fabricate and ship special lead weights to a plastic manufacture. Using the lead weight for miscellaneous counterweight applications during a production process.
- Fabricate and ship special gram weighted lead weights, packed per customer blueprints. These weights are machined to within +/- 0.5 grams: Sold to a laboratory for research and development project in New Jersey.
- Fabricate a set of gram lead weights per customer’s specifications. All the weights are used for an experiment for a pharmaceutical company in Cambridge. The lead had to be 99.99% pure or better and weights were held to extremely tight tolerances.
- Fabricate and ship a variety of handicap weights for thoroughbreds. Sold to a trainer in Maryland.
Lead Ballast
- Pick and ship from inventory: 10 tons of lead ballast. Sold for a Harbor master in New England for ballast of a private yacht. And later in the month pick and ship from inventory: second order of 10 tons of lead ballast. Sold to the same customer for lead ballast.
- From in stock inventory Nuclead ships a large amount of Re-claimed Lead shot/balls: For Ballast, Misc. weight/Ballast: Misc. sizes & grades. Sold to a restoration company in California; using the materials as counterweight for their cranes.
- Saw Lead Plate to special sizes: Lead sheet: 1/4″ thick. Sold to a Dry dock for ship ballast in New England.
- Pick and ship Re-claimed Lead shot/balls: For Re-loading, Ballast, Re-melting, or Misc. weight/Ballast: Misc. sizes & grades. Sold to General Contractor in California that is using the materials to fill cavities of heavy equipment & Cranes for lead counterweight.
- Pick and ship from inventory: Pure lead Pig ingots, Approx. 40#-70# ingots (Approx. size: 3.00″ x 3.00″ x 18.00″, loaf shape). Sold to a private party who owns many water vehicles on an ocean side estate for lead ballast.
- Pick and ship Re-claimed Lead shot/balls: For Re-loading, Ballast, Re-melting, or Misc. weight/Ballast: Misc. sizes & grades. Sold to a crane and rigging company in South Carolina for ballast weight.
- Pick and Pure Lead Pig ingots, approx. 40#-70# ingots (approx. size: 3″ x 3″ x 18″, loaf shape), 40,000#. Sold to a Shipyard in New England for ship ballast
