We are still fabricating and shipping; Lead shielding, Lead X-ray protection, Lead machined items and all custom & in stock Lead items with no interruptions. Nuclead’ lead inventory is available, and we can ship in 1 – 2 days.

Fabricated Lead Products

• Lead Cast: “Nuclead” Brand, Cast Square edges Lead Brick: 1.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″/ Delivered to a medical OEM in California to be used as X-ray Shielding for their custom site installation for a New Jersey medical facility.
• Provide customer, special thick cut Lead flashing: 3/32″ x 6″ x 120″. Sold ad delivered to a wholesaler in Arkansas for re-sale.
• Lead Extrusion of Lead wire: 1/2″ Dia. x 25 lb. spools. Delivered to a custom commercial engineering and fabrication house. This customer sheet metal firm make award winning custom metal actuarial products for commercial building in New York City. The lead is used for its unique heavy and soft properties.
• Fabricate CNC Lathe components per customer specifications. The special non-ferrous metal items were shipped to a government sub-contractor for unknown purposes. These tight tolerance items were held and documented within +/- 0.0010”
• Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s). “Type A” = Flat cap. Sold to a maintenance company ion Tennessee for repair projects down-town
• Lead Cast: “Nuclead” Brand, Cast Square edges Lead Brick: 1.50″ x 1.50″ x 4.25″. Sold to a machine shop in New York for their own value-added services.
• Lead Pour: Lead 5# ingots per ASTM B-29: Loaf shaped. Sold Lead Ingots to a manufacturer in Michigan for unknown value-added purposes.
• CNC Machine complete lead items per Raytheon blueprints (-1, -2, -3, -4). Customer pick-up the urgent items at the Nuclead facility in West Bridgewater MA the next business day.
• Lead cast: Pour :6% Lead Round: 8.50″ dia., x 5.00″ long into 4.50″ long slugs. Sold to a machine shop in California for CNC turning to their customer written specifications and blueprints.
• Lead Fabricate and consign, lead cast brick: 1.50″ x 2.50″ x 4.50″ to a third party for a wholesaler in California. The lead materials were shipped to the end buyer for unknown purposes.
• CNC Machine lead items per customer blueprints for NDT backscatter X-ray equipment, used for border and dock security. This backscatter technological can find dirty bombs, store ways, radiation, weapons and other contraband items.
• Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s). “Type A” = Flat cap. Sold to a maintenance company ion Tennessee for repair projects down-town
• Extruded Lead coil: 1/16″ x 1.00″ x 50 lbs. coil. Delivered to a stain glass fabricator in Massachusetts for their production processes.
• Extrude: Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s); “Type A” = Flat cap. Delivered to a large waterproofing firm in Oregon for ongoing projects. This is a regular customer that buys from Nuclead for their own inventory.

From Inventory

• Cut Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly. 10.00” x 16.00” x 14mm x 3mmLe x 200kv. Shipped to a general contractor in Canada for x-ray protection for a hospital remodeling.
• Pick and ship Lead Wool per QQ-C-40: Sold to a distributor located in Wyoming for unknown resale.
• Pick and ship Scrap Lead solids &/or sheet: For Misc. Weight/Ballast or Re-melting: Misc. sizes & grades. Sold to an excavation company for heavy equipment ballast.
• Ship Cut Lead Sheeting: 1/16″ x 48.00″ x 48.00″. Delivered one ton to a general contractor in Tennessee for radiation shielding in a hospital reconstruction.
• Pick and ship one ton of Pure lead Pig ingots, approx. 40#-70# ingots (approx. size: 3.00″ x 4.00″ x 20.00″, loaf shape). Sold and delivered to a heavy equipment repair company in Missouri, used for counterweight ballast in heavy equipment.
