Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Fabricated Lead Products
- Fabricate and lead lamination of construction lead package. Consisting of: Lead Sheet Rock, 48.00″ x 96.00″: 1/16″ Lead Sheeting, Bonded for installation purposes only, to; 1/2″ sheet rock; Lead screw shield(s), 1/16″; and Lead Seam Filler Tape for Corners, Utility, Cut-outs &/or Flat seams: 1/16″ x 1.75″ x 50 lbs. spools. (Approx. 90’/spool). Delivered via Nuclead Trucking to a local General Constrictor building a new wing for a local hospital’s expansion.
- CNC Machine 2% Antimony Lead. Cast using Nuclead fabricated custom lead molds. CNC machine to customer blueprints coves and contains. This item was delivered to a packaging scanning firm in New York City to identify contraband in parcel fright order’s
- Provide 3% Antimony Lead Coils: 1/16″ x 1.25″ x 291.00″ coil (3.00″ dia ID max coil). Sold to a medical OEM in Florida that uses the Nuclead Lead products for radiation shielding.
- Fabricate Nuclead Brand Babbitt, #4 Hardware Babbitt: 1-2% Tin/ 12-14% Antimony/ Balance Pb; Notch Bar. Delivered to a machine manufacture in Canada for its manufacturing processes.
- Lead Cutting and Lead Lamination Construction lead package. Consisting of: Lead window frames: (Ships 7 – 14 days), HM Steel welded borrowed Lite frame. Customer responsible for all prep, Hardware and assembly. Lead X-Ray Glass Size 12.00″ x 12.00″ x 4.875″ throat 1/32″ Lead lined. (Rough Opening to be determined by customer with glass size quoted); and with separate Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep &/or assembly. 12.00″ x 12.00″ x 8.5-9.5mm x 5/64″Le x 150kv. Shipped to a General Contractor in Nebraska for X-ray Technician booths.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 11/16″ wide x 1/2” joint depth x 25# (Ref: 60′) spool(s). Min buy: 25#; “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #07656-01 & #765601S. Sold to a restoration company in New England for masonry stone flashing.
- CNC machine 2% Antimony Lead Bases and Lead Covers. Sold to a Commercial common carrier using the lead shielding for x-ray protection to scan items being shipped for security purposes to a terminal in New York City.
From Inventory
- Supply Cut Lead sheeting: 1/8″ x 48.00″ x 291.00″. Sold and delivered to an electrical contractor in Florida for protection on high energy power cords omitting radiation
- Pick and ship Pure lead Pig ingots, approx. 40#-70# ingots (approx. size: 3.00″ x 3.00″ x 18.00″, loaf shape), boat ballast. Sold to a small marine in Michigan for boat ballast.
- Cut Lead Glass: Provided for customer prep and assembly. 25.00″ x 25.00″ x 8.5-9.5mm x 5/64″Le x 150kv. Delivered to a contractor distribution center in Connecticut for re-sale.
- Lead Extrusions: Lead coil: 1/16″ x 0.50″ x 50 lbs. coil. Sold to a stained-Glass company in New England that fabricates custom windows and glass, primarily for religious purposes.
- Pick and ship for in stock inventory, Re-claimed Lead shot/balls: For Re-loading, Ballast, Re-melting, or Misc. weight/Ballast: Misc. sizes & grades. Delivered to a bottling plant in the Mid-West that require,es the heavy lead products for machinery ballast.
- Pick Re-claimed Lead shot/balls: For Re-loading, Ballast, Re-melting, or Misc. weight/Ballast: Misc. sizes & grades. Sold to a Forging company in Maine that needs economical lead for its refining process.
- Lead Cast and epoxy paint, custom Lead bricks: 11.50″ x 3.75″ x 3.00″, Painted for corrosion resistance with a small hole to accommodate hanging for paint. Delivered via LTL carrier, using truck load rate for this 10-ton order of ship ballast. Delivered to the Golden Gate commission in California for Tug boat Ballast.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: Approx.; Two 8′ lengths per 25# extruded). Min buy: 25#: “Type B” = Inside 90-degree corner cap.. Sold to a local commercial window and glass company that uses the Nuclead extruded lead for weatherproofing stone wall buildings.
- Lead Sheet Rock, 48.00″ x 96.00″:1/32″ Lead Sheeting to 7′, Bonded for installation purposes only, to; 1/2″ sheet rock. Sold to an Endodontics company in Indiana for x-ray shielding of their x-ray department.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 11/16″ wide x 1/2” joint depth x 25# (Ref: 60′) spool(s) “Type A” = Flat cap. This company uses the Nuclead lead materials for stone flashing.
- Cut and ship Lead Foil per QQ-L-201-f Grade C: 0.020″ x 8.00″ x 15.00″. Delivered Sign company in Seattle for printing processes.
