Here are some of the items we shipped recently to customers around the USA.

Fabricated Lead Products

  • Fabricate lead item 0.010″ Lead foil with black vinyl laminated to one side and PSA with release paper on the other @ 4.00″ wide x 30′ long. Delivered to a medical OEM in Vermont. The lead product will be used as x-ray shielding to protect people and equipment in medical facilities.
  • Fabricate lead elevator weights complete per Sketch provided by customer: Price includes all applicable labor & materials. Each item weighs approximately 68lbs at 1″ thick. Delivered to a national elevator company for a repair job in Florida. The lead lift weights are certified and marked per written specifications.
  • CNC machine lead items using Lead 6% Antimony: 1.00″ x 17.00″ x 22.00″ sheeting. The radiation shielding will be used for protection of people and equipment of mobile scanning deviceless deployed within the Unites States and internationally.
  • Fabricate 1.75″ Lead Gutter Outlets @ 40 PCs. /carton. Sole of these lead products were to a national hardware distributor for re-sale thought the United States.
  • CNC machining of lead x-ray shielding for AS&E security scanning equipment. The ZBV is the top-selling mobile cargo and vehicle screening system in the world. ZBV R-Class with 4WD and crew cab for extra space, ZBV S-Class mobile cargo and vehicle screening system for Border officials; uncover smugglers attempting to hide currency, radiation, plastic explosives, and dirty bombs. Nuclead has been fabricating the lead x-ray shielding since the equipment’s conception. The systems are deployed through the world to screen check points, boards and shipping containers.
  • Cast antimony lea to an alloy of 1% – 6% Antimony / Balance Lead. Round bar to 1.38″ dia., x 12.00″ long. Sold to a local machine shop for their own value-added services.
  • Fabricate Lead foil: 0.005” x 1.00″ x 60′ (720.00″); Per customer specifications. In particular an aerospace item with a shelve life = 1 year. Stored individually into plastic zip lock with moisture desiccant to prevent oxidization. Label each bag as quoted and per customers special written specifications. Delivered to a university Applied Physics Lab to be used as radiation therapy research.
  • Nuclead fabricated and shipped Lead Soundproofing sheet: (1.50#) 0.024″ x 48.00″ x 240.00″; Re-roll mill fabricated product onto one solid fiber. Delivered to a company in New York that specializes in custom soundproofing for US government contractors.
  • Pour Lead Round Bar: 3.50″ dia. x 16.00″ long. Sold to a machine shop in Washington state for CNC turning and lead assembly.
  • Cast lead into Nuclead “Puritan” Brand, pure Caulking Lead: Five count of Virgin 5# ingots. Delivered to a local plumbing and supply house in Massachusetts for resale to local plumbers. The Contractors will use the lead products to seal waist pipe in commercial buildings.

  • Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s). “Type A” = Flat cap. Sold to a national general contractor in Port Washington, NY for a lead restoration project at a state park.
  • Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s). “Type A” = Flat cap. The lead was sold to a general contractor in Illinois for a restoration project in Champaign.
  • Provide Free sample x approx. 12″ long. Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1/2″ wide x 7/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 75′) spool(s). “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #07656-01 & 65601S. Deliver via UPS to a general contractor in Long Island City, NY for testing and evaluation. If approved, an order of thousands of pounds will be ordered for a restoration project on a national monument.
  • Supply Cut Lead sheet: 1/16″ x 8.00″ x 48.00″. Sold to a hand tool OEM in New England that uses the heavy soft metal as dead blow hammer ballast.
  • Pick and ship Pure lead Pig ingots, approx. 40#-70# ingots (approx. size: 3.50″ x 4.00″ x 19.00″, loaf shape). The lead was sold to a marina in Maine and will be used for boat ballast.
  • Pick and ship Lead Wool per QQ-C-40. Sold to a roofing company in New Jersey for chimney flashing. The contractor removes damage mortar and replaces it with the lead wool while installing new lead flashing. This provides a waterproof joint. When re-flashing a chimney (for example), the old flashings must be removed, and the new flashings must be inserted into the brick or stone. These new flashings are held into place in the mortar joints using metal wedges. Lead wool is an ideal material to use for this purpose because it’s malleable, doesn’t react with copper as do most other metals, is long-lasting, doesn’t rust, and wedges tight.
  • Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: Approx.; Three 7′ long lengths). “Type A” = Flat cap. Sold to a restoration company in Pennsylvania for lead stone flashing.
  • Cut Lead sheeting: 0.082″ (+0 / – 0.007″) x 7.00″ x 12.75″. Sold to a machine shop in Florida for radiation shielding of a lead assembly they are fabrication.
  • Cut Lead Glass: Provided for customer preparation and assembly. 36.00″ x 36.00″ x 8.5-9.5mm x 5/64″Le x 150kv. Sold to a general contractor in New York for a medical facility in Stony Brook’s x-ray and radiation department.
  • Pick and ship Lead Wool per QQ-C-40. Destination is a restoration company in Pennsylvania for lead flashing caulk in chimney mortar. The craftsman chip away decaying mortar from the chimney brick, install new lead flashing and used the lead wool to set it in place. The lead wool is compacted into the joint to hold the flashing and make a watertight masonry joint at the same time.
