Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Fabricated Lead Products
- CNC machine lead products per customer written blueprints and specifications. Deliver to a sub-supplier of ZBV cargo and vehicle inspection systems. The finished and machined lead shielding is used to protect equipment and people as backscatter X-rays detects weapons, dirty bombs, Radiation, plastic explosives, and all other contraband including smugglers and stowaways.
- Fabricate and ship for a medical OEM assembly process. 0.010″ Lead foil with black vinyl laminated to one side and PSA with release paper on the other @ 4.00″ wide x 30′ long. These lead items are fabricated to protect technicians from x-rays using lead x-ray shielding.
- Cast and ship Pure Caulking Lead: Five count of Virgin 5# ingots. Sold Nuclead’s own brand of Puritan Lead. Delivered to an engine equipment OEM sues the lead materials because of Nuclead capability of high purity and quick deliveries.
- Fabricate and deliver Cut Lead sheet: 3/32″ x 10.00″ x 48.00″. Destination to a hand tool company which uses the lead stock for its heavy dense properties.
- Fabricate 2″ Lead Gutter Outlets at 30 PCs. /carton. Sold to a wholesale distributor in New England for distribution nationwide of Nuclead lead items.
- Fabricate 5% Antimony Lead: 1/4″ x 60.00″ x 240.00″; sold to a distributor in Texas for resale.
- CNC Machine AMS-7721 Antimony Lead plate: 1/4″ x 48.25″ x 60.25″; Fabricate the customer lead products per their written blueprints and specifications with aerospace tolerances. These fussy lead spacers with antimony were shipped to an aerospace sub-contractor in Texas.
- Fabricate lead and ship 1.75″ Lead Gutter Outlets @ 40 PCs. /carton and 2″ Lead Outlets @ 30 PCs. /carton. Nuclead delivered the lead items to a local distributor for resale nationwide.
From Inventory
- Cut lead and deliver Saf-T-Lite Lead Glass; Per ANSI Z97. 1-1984 and 16 CFR 1201 Cat.ll: Provided for customer preparation and assembly. Sold several sizes of lead glass x 1.6mm (1/16″) Le x 11mm Thick x 150kV to a glass company in Texas for installation of a research and development laboratory.
- Extruded 3% – 5% Antimony Lead wire: 1.25″ dia. x 22# batches. Sold to a metal distributor in New England for unknown purposes.
- Extrude 4,000# of Lead Wire: 5/16″ Dia. x 50 lb. spools. Cut and fabricate per customers written blueprints. Deliver to a medical OEM that uses lead products because of its heavy soft properties.
- Pick Certify and Ship Lead Wool per QQ-C-40: This product is in new condition and has not been installed previously. This product has not been subject to extreme stress, heat, or environment. Complies to QQ-C-40 and is acceptable for use in the aviation industry. Sold to an aviation company in the southeast for routine propellor maintenance.
- Pick and ship in stock Lead 6% antimony: 3/8″ x 25.00″ x 60.00″. Ship to a machine shop in the northeast for their own value-added lead services to sell to a third party. The lead sold is to be machined to unknown specifications but is certified to QQ-L-201 F Grade C.
- Provide Free Samples: Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 2.00″ wide x 15/16” joint depth x 25# (Ref: Approx.; Two 9′ long lengths for type A) & (Ref: Approx.; One 8′ long length for type B).
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: Approx.; Three 7′ long lengths). “Type A” = Flat cap. Sold lead items to a restoration company in Pennsylvania for stone flashing at a state park.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1/2″ wide x 7/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 75′) spool(s). “Type A” = Flat cap. Delivered lead products to a general contractor in Ohio for restoration project of state historical buildings.
- Cut Antimony Lead per AMS-L-18331 (+/- 0.030″ all over). Sold to an Air Corps division in Minnesota. This division of restores vintage aircraft and required the lead for sale to restore WWII aircraft.
- Cut Lead sheet, Grade C per QQ-L-201f, 5/64″ x 12.00″ x 12.00″. Nuclead sold lead products to this worldwide, multinational arms, security, and aerospace company. Nuclead’s customer is the largest defense contractor in Europe and among the world’s largest defense companies. The lead items are used in Shielding Electronic components during electrical tests.
