Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Fabricated Lead Products
- Cast Square edges, Lead Bricks: 1.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″. sold to a local research and Industry company. The lead bricks for sale will be used as nuclear brick and radiation shielding in testing laboratory. Interlocking blocks or bricks could also be used for these purposes.
- Fabricate Lead Liner: 141mm OD x 63mm ID x 650mm Long. Sold to a machine shop so they can make a radiation shield with the thick wall lead tubing produced by Nuclead. The thick wall will be used as x-ray shielding during package screening in LTL carry or small package delivery services to detect contraband.
- Extrude 3% Antimony/Lead Wire: 1/16″ dia. x 25lb spools. Sold to a lead in large commercial procurement company for resale to a government sub-contractor. The lead coil wire is manufactured into fine lead wire using lead billets. All lead wire manufactured by Nuclead under ½” diameter is sold on spools and coils are sold over ½”.
- Extrude Lead Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s). “Type A” = Flat cap; Nuclead manufacturers lead to produce lead weather cap. The lead stone flashing was shipped to a masonry firm, in LIC, NY for a restoration project. Our lead factory uses lead billets to extrude the highest quality of flashing for stone and stone ledger flashing per GSA specification’s.
- Nuclead are manufacturers of Lead sheet: 1/16″ x 48.00″ x 96.00″. These special cut lead sheets are used in x-ray shielding / lead shielding applications. The lead sheeting and lead plate for sale are used as lead lining for x ray rooms. All lead sheets for sale at Nuclead can be used as lead foil or lead plate. All of Nuclead’s lead sheet metal is manufactured per QQ-L-201-f. These lead items and materials are being used as radiation shielding.
- Extrude Package of 6% Antimony Lead rounds: 1.50″ Dia. x multiple Lengths. The lead for sale is used in the nuclear energy sector and for nuclear power plants as radiation shielding. Nonferrous metals such as lead metal and antimony lead metal are used for their dense element properties to stop radiation. Radiation shielding protects people and equipment during day-to-day operations. This particular lead metal has an Sb Element to add stiffness and rigidity to the lead bars.
- Extrude lead metal into Lead rod: 7/8″ Dia. x 72.00″. These nonferrous lead bars were delivered to a local machine shop for unknown value-added services. Nuclead sells lead ingots, lead wire lead sheets and lead weights to many manufacturing facilities for their own value-added services. Because Nuclead can certify and ship quickly lead for sale, tin alloy and zinc alloy and all non-ferrous metals, it is the smart choice when in the market for these products and services.
- Extrude and ship Lead pipe: 0.75″ id x 1/4″ wall x 120.00″ lg. (Ref: 10’). Sold to a water pipe distributor for resale to a water testing and refinery company. The lead pipe for sale is also called lead sleeves or Lead tubing.
From Inventory
- Pick and ship Lead Wool per QQ-C-40 to an aviation repair shop in Texas for propeller maintenance. The lead wool for packing is one of the many lead wools uses. It can be used as lead wool blankets, lead wool for plumbing, lead wool for packing or lead caulk. Nuclead has lead wool for sale all certified per QQ-C-40 and can be delivered on a day or two.
- Cut to specifications Lead Glass: Provided for customer preparation and assembly. Nuclead cut the lead products to 36.00″ x 48.00″ x 7-8mm x 1/16″Le x 150kv and shipped the x-ray glass to a general contractor in Wisconsin. As a lead glass supplier, Nuclead can ship x ray lead glass, lab glass and lead acrylic at a good lead glass price and quick delivery.
