Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Recent Shipments
- Cut Lead Plate Package per customer specifications. This lead sheet order consists of thickness 1/8” through ½” and totals over 5,000 lbs. The lead for sale will be ship on multi pallets to reduce cost to a manufacture in Connecticut for their own value-added service of an x ray shielding assembly.
- Extrude 2,500# of pure lead foil tape per specifications >=97%-98% Pure Lead (Pb). Sold & fabricated as, “Each”, this Lead foil is sized as 0.005” (+/-.001″) x 1.00″ x approximately 5 lb. each, on fiber cores at 202’ long lead coils. Nuclead fabricates this lead product for sale in the United States at its West Bridgewater plant in Massachusetts. Nuclead latest revision of OSHA approved SDS & Conflict material, CFSI_CMRT is on file at the customers facility from prior orders. The thin lead foil is for oil rig companies that require specialized OEM equipment for turbomachinery & process solutions (TPS). The equipment provides related services for mechanical-drive, compression and power-generation applications across the oil and gas industry and energy industry, on-and-offshore including, LNG, pipeline and gas storage, refining, petrochemical, distributed gas and flow processes.
- Extrude Lead Wire: ½” Dia. x 50 lb. spools. Cut lead into 25.50” lengths and re-roll into straightened pieces within .020” per customer supplied blueprints. The lead items total 2,500# and shipped in customized boxes produced at Nuclead’s shipping department. All lead items for sale include certifications for a medical OEM. The certifications confirm Nuclead is a lead manufacturer *COO*: United State of America. It also certifies the Raw pig lead materials for the order is fabricated by CFS Compliant Smelter per IPC-1755. Lead wire, ribbon, bar stock and tape can all be certified the same for any customer if required. The lead billets produced for the order are fabricated in the Nuclead plant in Massachusetts.
- Extrude Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 40′ spools. “Type A” = Flat cap. Sold to a commercial contractor operating in the United States, in Texas. The finished lead items will be used to restore historic building, while providing an energy efficient barrier from moisture, water and provide ongoing maintenance of the restored building, all while supporting the local communities that enjoy those buildings.
- Pour Nuclead brand lead ingots into, Cast Square edges, Lead Brick: 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 12.00″. Sold to a metal’s wholesaler in Louisiana for resale and lead export as required. The cast lead brick was an order over one ton and ship via LTL carrier. Other lead bricks items that Nuclead can produce such as Chevron or interlocking brick, can be coated to protect people and equipment form lead exposer for a safe installation and operation.
- Ship one ton of Nuclead’s brand of Cast Square edges, Lead Brick: 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 12.00″, to a steel and pipe company in Louisiana. The radiation shielding will be used as large lead lined boxes. Lead products from Nuclead are certified per customer specifications and written orders. Lead bricks can also be used and lead weights, lead ingots or lead bars for sale. As a secondary lead smelter in the US, Nuclead can provide the quickest deliveries for domestic companies.
- Pick and deliver Pure lead Pig ingots, 30#-70# lead ingots 3.50″ x 4.00″ x 22.00″, loaf shape to a ship building company in Maine. The lead bars are to be used a ship ballast and boat ballast. All of Nuclead lead ballast products for sale are in stock for fast deliveries. It can also be used as elevator counterweight, elevator weights or virgin materials to produce bulk lead orders of pure lead products.
- Pick and ship for inventory Lead pipe: 1.50″ id x 3/32″ wall x 60.00″ lg., to a customer in Colorado that specializes in engineering, architecture, environmental, and construction infrastructure services. Lead pipe for sale by Nuclead is in stock in most cases. The lead tube, sleeves and lead tubing are used for many construction and lead shielding needs.
- Extrude Lead coil: 3/16″ x 1/4″ and ship to a company in Cleveland, OH specializing in fabrication of custom military grade shims, gaskets and spacers. The lead products for sale are used in the manufacturing processes as lead shims. The lead bars for sale in lead bar stock form was specially boxed and shipped in straight 6’ lengths. Nuclead also extrudes lead rods and lead round bar in the same manner to prevent damage during transit.
- Ship Free Samples, Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x Approx. 12.00″; Consigned to a general contractor in Staten Island, NY for testing and engineering signatures for Nuclead products to be spec’d onto the drawings. Nuclead lead products are the highest quality available.
- Fabricate Lead Gutter Outlets, 1.75” diameter x 5.25” long @ 40 PCs. /Cartons. Sold to a national distributor of hardware and building products. The lead products for sale were produced using the highest quality lead tubing and seamless lead pipe.
- Fabricate lead building products and ship Weather-T- Caps: 2.00″ wide x 15/16” joint depth x 25# Approximately Two (2) 9′ long lengths. “Type A” = Flat cap. Delivered to a waterproofing firm in Wisconsin for a large restoration project requiring the lead products. The order also consisted of other lead building products including lead flashing, lead lined drywall, lead glass and lead sheet.
- Deliver lead building products of Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25 lb. spools to a New Hampshire masonry firm. The “Type A” = Flat cap is specified to U.S. General Services Administration Historic Preservation Technical Procedures. The lead order also was shipped with lead wool and lead sheets.
- Pick and Ship Lead construction materials of 2″ Lead Outlets @ 30 PCs. /Carton. Sold and delivered to a national wholesale for lead distribution of lead products for sale. The lead tubing is formed via CNC equipment to maintain tolerances and constancy. The lead goosenecks are used primarily in older buildings adhering to historical society building regulations, or lead restoration projects. They are also used in many custom, industrial or commercial applications.
- Cut Lead strips: 1/16″ x 2.00″ x 48.00″ and re-roll into lead rolls for sale. Delivered to a general contractor in Colorado for special, custom roof flashing. The thicker and less wide soft lead sheet metal will provide extra protection than standard 3/64” lead sheeting. The thinner widths are used in more compact areas where wider lead rolls cannot be used.
- Pick for in-stock inventory Lead sheet: 1/32″ x 96.00″ x 291.00″. Sold and delivered to a plantation for artistic restoration and improvements on the property. The heavy soft lead is a good non-ferrous metal for this application as it is very malleable and weather resistant.
- Extrusions lead construction materials of lead billets to produce lead weathercap; “Type A” = Flat cap. Delivered a large order via Nuclead Trucking overnight to a rush stone restoration job in Pittsburgh, PA. The pure lead items for sale are obviously made for the purest lead available. As a secondary lead smelter, Nuclead can refine the pure lead products to a higher than standard purity. The lead materials will act as weatherproofing to protect the project from decay for decades to come. All of the custom, industrial and commercial uses for the lead metals cross into many markets.
