Lead pipes are used in industry as a result of malleability, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion. Typical applications include chemical plants, nuclear plants, paper manufacturing plants and Hydro and plating applications.
Other applications for Lead Pipes are for Soil Waste, Ventilating, and telephone and telegraph underground piping, pressure tubes (copper lead) and cable sheathing.
Appliances and plumbing fixtures require vent pipes that run through the roof of a house. Lead pipe flashing is installed over vent pipes and incorporated into the shingle pattern to create a cohesive, water-resistant rooftop.
Lead Pipe Shipments
- Lead-inner-lined pipe with 1.50″ ID x 5/32″ wall thickness x 12.00″ length. Outside sleeve made from Steel approximately 2.00″ OD x 12.00″ long and lead threaded, fit all plugs: 1.00″ NPT. All provided to a Universities Medical Facility for experimentation and testing in New York. These custom lead sleeves were produced for this special commercial application in a few days. Most industrial customers choose Nuclead because of its fast turn-around times.
- Extrude Lead pipe: 2.75″ id x 1/8″ wall x 72.00″ lg. and shipped to a commercial engineering firm in North Carolina. This firm used the Nuclead lead pipe for sale because of the alloy used making the lead pipe rigidity firmer. Lead pipes are typically very soft. By using an alloy, the lead piping can be used in more stable conditions.
- Fabricate special Cast Lead Tubing: 9.25″ OD x 8.75″ ID x 7.55″ Long. This special lead for sale was delivered to a Utah manufacturer for its own value-added services. The lead pipe rigidity for sale is stiff as fabricated. The lead tube color is a solid grey. Lead sleeves and lead pipe is going tube used as radiation shielding for these applications.
- Produce lead tubing to fabricate 1.50″ Lead Gutter Outlets @ 50 PCs. /Carton. Sold and delivered to a local distributor for nationwide sale in big box hardware stores. The seamless lead pipe in specialty formed via a CNC process to maintain tolerances and consistency. Lead extrusions of lead sleeves by Nuclead produce void free lead products for this application.
- Pick and ship for inventory Lead pipe: 1.50″ id x 3/32″ wall x 60.00″ lg., to a customer in Colorado that specializes in engineering, architecture, environmental, and construction infrastructure services. Lead pipe for sale by Nuclead is in stock in most cases. The lead tube, sleeves and lead tubing are used for many construction and lead shielding needs.
- Extrude and ship Lead pipe: 0.75″ id x 1/4″ wall x 120.00″ lg. (Ref: 10’). Sold to a water pipe distributor for resale to a water testing and refinery company. The lead pipe for sale is also called lead sleeves or Lead tubing.
- Pick and deliver via Nuclead Trucking Lead pipe: 5.00″ id x 1/8″ wall x 30.00″ lg. and Lead pipe: 5.50″ id x 5/32″ wall x 61.00″ lg. Also included with the order of lead for sale was several hundred pounds of extruded Pure Pb: Lead Wire 1/8″ x 50# coils. Sold to a commercial high voltage electrical contractor. The lead products were in stock and delivered within 2 days. Lead sleeves where specified by the commercial customer for high voltage shielding. Lead tubing is also used for lead shielding of municipality transit systems that use high voltage also.
- Fabricate Lead Gutter Outlets, 1.75” diameter x 5.25” long @ 40 PCs. /Cartons. Sold to a national distributor of hardware and building products. The lead products for sale were produced using the highest quality lead tubing and seamless lead pipe.
- Extrude Lead pipe/ lead sleeve, Grade C, Common Pure Lead: 3.50″ id x 3/16″ wall x 20.00″ lg. Sold to distributor in California for resale. The lead for sale will be used as lead weight. All of Nuclead’s pure lead materials and products meet ASTM-B-29 specifications.
- Fabricate lead pipe into 1.75″ Lead Outlets @ 40 PCs. /Carton and lead tubing into 1.50″ Lead Outlets @ 50 PCs. /Carton. Deliver lead products to a hardware store distributor for retail sale. Lead pipe for sale at Nuclead is used to form into lead goose necks as it lasts and performs for a very long time without leaking. It is also a historical requirement in some zoning districts.
