Lead sheet and Antimony Lead sheet are used in a large number of applications. For example, Lead sheet is used to line radiation sensitive areas such as X-ray rooms and lead boxes.
Lead is also chemical resistant and is often used for seals in chemical processing.
Lead Sheet Shipments
- Cut Lead sheet: 1/16″ x 8.00″ x 96.00″ and saw custom Lead sheeting 3/32″ x 10.00″ x 96.00″. Shipped to commercial hammer manufacturer that makes spark free dead blow hammers for oil rigs. Lead sheets are the best materials for this important application. Non-sparking hammers must have materials safe to use near combustible materials. The pure lead products provided are soft and heavy for this OEM.
- Cut lead sheet: 1.40mm thick x 24.00″ x 48.00″, shipped to a cancer center in Canada for radiation shielding materials. The medical facility will be using the lead products as lead lining to reinforce lead wall panels in sensitive aeras.
- Cut Lead Sheet: 1/8″ x 6.00″ x 36.00″ and ship to an Automatic Sprinkler Co. in Tennessee for lead gaskets of backflow preventers. The lead seals are produced using chemical lead sheets. The customer assemblies the lead products for sale into a lead lined box that allows flow when required ad seal when not in use. Lead Containers are typically used as radiation shielding, but for this application it is for the lead construction materials as special lead washers.
- Fabricate at Nuclead lead factory, Lead 6% antimony plate: 4.25mm x 6.00″ x 6.00″. Shipped via LTL carrier to a machine shop in California for value-added services. The pallets of special lead products are shipped flat and packaged with stiff wood supports to prevent damage during the shipping process. The antimony lead sheet is being used as radiation shielding in a finished assembly. Lead shielding is required as opposed to cast lead brick for its manufacturing process of QQ-l-201-f.
- Cut lead sheet metal, 40,000# into Lead sheets 1/16” x 48.00″ x 84.00″ Lead sheeting 1/8” x 48.00″ x 84.00″. Delivered to a State University Medical Center for x ray shielding. The lead lining will be assembled on site to the sheetrock to form lead lined drywall and lead lined doors.
- Cut Lead Sheeting into strips of 0.863mm x 7.75″ x 9.75″ and Lead Foil into 1/32″ x 7.75″ x 9.75″. Sold and shipped to a machine shop in Missouri. The lead sheeting will be used as lead gaskets for small machine tool repairs. Lead sheet is a good choice as it is very soft and can compress to seal mating parts. Lead plate can be used for thicker requirements of custom and industrial uses.
- Manufacture Lead Plate Package: Fourteen pieces of Lead brick 2.00″ x 3.00″ x 20.00″ and two hundred and sixty Interlocking chevron brick, 1.00″ x 2.75″ x 6.89″. Delivered via Nuclead trucking to a cancer research facility requiring radiation shielding for testing and research. This commercial customer uses Nuclead for is quick delivery and quality products, on time…all the time. The thick lead sheets required are for industrial and research processes of high radiation. They can also be used for lead lined boxes to store waist. Lead bricks are light weight and versatile in most research and industry settings.
- Fabricate large custom lead order of Lead Sheet Rock, 48.00″ x 96.00″: 1/32″ Lead Sheeting, Bonded for installation purposes only, to; 1/2″ sheet rock. Cut standard lead lined drywall into special sizes for a general contractor in Georgia.
- Pick lead foil 0.021” x 48.25” x 242” and cut lead sheet into blanks for CNC milling operations. Certify to QQ-l-201-f grade C. Pack and QC complete per print #P 1297 Rev G. Order includes all applicable labor, materials, tolerances, and notes. PO Quality clause applies: A.2 (Maintain Quality System ISO9001), included. Complies with Quality System QCI 12.4 and 22.1, “Counterfeit Avoidance & Mitigation” also included. Delivered to an OEM in Florida for assembly into jet aircraft. Lead foil and lead sheet are produced using lead ingots rolled to proper thickness and specifications. These are used primarily as custom, commercial, or industrial applications.
- CNC Mill Lead Discs: 1/8″ Thick x 2.00″ OD. General enamel prime & paint with black enamel. Delivered via LTL carrier to an energy OEM that commercializes fusion power. The lead shielding is used to shear the flow stabilized in the proprietary equipment. The lead spacers are fabricated using pure lead sheet per qq-l-201-f.
- Use materials available in stock now of Lead sheeting: 1/16″ x 48.25″ x 291.00″, cut to special sizes for value added services. Produced custom Lead Strips: 1/16″ x 2.00″ x 2.00″ with one (1) 3/8″ Diameter through hole centered on the 2.00″ x 2.00” with 120 grit finish. Consigned to a municipal water source in the northeast for test coupons. Lead is used as a pure lead anode in testing procedures of industrial applications only. The square lead washers were custom lead products to customer blueprints.
- Fabricate lead products per QQ-l-201 f into Lead Sheet 1/2″ x 48.00″ x 72.00″. Delivered to a University in Texas for their Nuclear Science department. The lead sheets will be used in substitution of lead bricks. The lead shielding will be used as radiation protection materials in the testing laboratory. Radiation shielding products such as lead stop the harmful effects and protect people and equipment.
- Cut Lead Sheet Package into 20,000 lbs. of smaller individual sized configurations. The custom lead materials were sold and delivered via Nuclead trucking for a commercial application in a radiation cancer treatment research facility. The lead sheets will be used as x-ray shielding for the new radiology department.
- Deliver Lead Soundproofing Sheeting: (1.15#) 0.020″ x 48.00″ x 240.00″; Re-roll mill fabricated product onto one solid fiber core and certified to customer specifications for government subcontractor custom and industrial applications. The lead foil is per ASTM-B-29 and will be applied as a lead lining to a stainless-steel assembly for an aerospace customer.
- Fabricate as a lot: CNC machine from lead foil 0.5mm thick x 50mm x 50mm, 99.99% Pure Pb stock. Fabricate into Lead rectangles: 0.5mm x 1.5mm x 2.5mm. Cleaned, packaged & shipped to an aerospace sub-contractor. These small pieces of lead sheet are used for micro experimentation in a lab radiation level testing.
