Lead Bricks – Nuclead can offer any shape or size per customer specifications, including interlocking Lead Bricks/Lead Blocks which are designed for high energy radiation shielding and gamma ray blocking, nuclear bricks, radiation bricks, gamma ray bricks and x-ray bricks are available for specific applications.

- Produce custom Lead Bricks: 2.00″ x 7.50″ x 7.50″. Sold to a precision instrument company in New England for its own value-added services.
- Fabricate “Nuclead” Brand, Cast Square edges Lead Brick: 2″ x 4″ x 8″. Sold to an x-ray OEM in Georgia that supplies scanning systems to companies for security screening check points. The Nuclead lead brick will be used as radiation shielding.
- Fabricate and ship Nuclead brand, Cast Lead Brick: 1.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″. Sold to a Global Bio-Medical Supply company for re-sale to one of their customers.
- Fabricate and ship Nuclead brand, Cast Lead Brick: 2.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″. Sold to a scanning and x-ray firm that make x-ray equipment for the food service industry.
- Lead Cast, “Nuclead” Brand, Cast Square edges Lead Brick: 1.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″. Sold to The David A. Gardner PET Imaging Research Center at Columbia University Medical Center. It is a comprehensive imaging facility that includes 2 cyclotrons, an FDA-compliant production radiochemistry and radio pharmacy, and 4 scanners.
Lead weights
- Nuclead can supply lead weights Lead weights in all sizes and weight up to 40,000 lbs. (special pours up to 100,000 lbs.) in any material from 99.99% pure lead to any percentage of alloy, including antimony, tin, zinc, bismuth and copper.
- The lead weights can be custom fabricated for any application such as Lead elevator weights, automotive and aerospace applications
- Fabricate lead molds and cast Pure Lead into multiple cavity molds, per customer written specifications. Nuclead poured and delivered 3 tons of custom lead weight and sold to a major production company in New York for an Emerson University show in Boston. Nuclead was awarded the order for its ability to deliver the products quickly to the theater for opening night festivities.
- Fabricate complete per customer blueprints and ship: Lead weight per drawing provided including all notes, materials and tolerances. Sold to Northrop Grumman Corp. Aerospace Systems for sophisticated counterweights for an unknow project.
- Fabricate and ship a unique lead weight package. Fabricate complete per quote & sketch provided ARO: Package consists of twenty Lead Blocks to be 0.75″ x 24.63″ x several lengths with 45-degree chamfers: Shipped to timber mill in Canada for lead counterweights of special machinery.
- Pick and ship Lead balls: Ref 1.20 mm (#12 – .047″/.040″dia.); Sold to a self-driving automobile OEM in California for counterweight purposes of the device. The Lead shot has to be small and comply by weight and dimensions, as to maintain the proper weight in a very small cavity.
- Fabricate one ton of 26# special CNC machined lead weights, Sold to a third party for finished assembly of Sikorsky Helicopter components. As this is an Aerospace item the weights all needed to be held to tight tolerances.
- CNC Machine 35 special elevator counterweights for an elevator service company in New York. These weights are customer design per blueprints provided and will be install into a multi-story building in the Bronx.
- CNC mill, lead molds and cast lead elevator weights, 1.00″ x 7.50″ x 45.75″. These lead elevator weights were fabricated per sketch provided by the customer. They are being installed into a new luxury hotel in the northeast for its grand opening. They weigh approximately 130 lbs each.
