Here are some of the items we shipped recently to customers around the USA.
Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Fabricated Lead Products
- Cast Lead Brick with Square edges: 1.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″ and Drill 3/4″ diameter holes complete per sketches and specifications provided by customers written order. The lead items were delivered to a New England engineering firm. This company is using the custom lead weights as ship ballast during the manufacturing and assembly process of new vessels.
- Cut lead and ship the lead plate: 1/4″ x 48.00″ x 120.00″ to an Aerospace division. The lead plate is used as gaskets and seals during testing of their components.
- Cast lead with square edges, lead brick: 1.00″ x 4.00″ x 8.00″ Drill 3/4″ complete per customer provided blueprint and written specifications. The lead weights were sold to a marina in Maine. They are used as ship ballast during the manufacturing process by this ship builder.
- Laminate lead sheeting to 6061-T651 Aluminum Sheet: 7mm (0.275″) x 12.00″ x 12.00″. Sold the lead radiation shielding to a government Dept of Physics in New York for testing and research.
- Fabricate cast lead round stock with certified Copper Bearing Lead per ASTM-B-29 (0.04% / 0.08%): Cast Round: 3.50″ x. 20.00″ long. These lead products were sold and delivered to machine shop in Washington for their own value-added services for lead products sold to a U.S. Government sub-contractor. All certifications must be quality controlled and documented.
- Ship Lead Soundproofing sheet: (1.50#) 0.024″ x 48.00″ x 240.00″; Re-roll mill fabricated product onto one solid fiber core. The special lead product is providing with certifications confirming it accuracy per ISO specifications.
- CNC Machine lead components for x-ray shielding. The sophisticated lead items are machined within aerospace tolerances for the most maneuverable, versatile, and successful cargo and vehicle screening system on the market. It clearly reveals threats like explosives, drugs, currency, dirty bombs, radiation, and trade-fraud items such as alcohol and cigarettes—even in high-throughput environments like border crossings and security checkpoints. All items are quality controlled and certified per Nuclead’s ISO procedures.
- Fabricate Lead Item 0.010″ Lead foil with black vinyl laminated to one side and 3M PSA with release paper on the other @ 4.00″ wide x 30′ long. Fabricated lead materials to customer written specifications. The lead x-ray shielding will be used for an equipment OEM. they use the special lead products fabricate by Nuclead as radiation shielding for X-ray equipment sold to medical facilities worldwide.
- Fabricate and ship lead radiation protection 0.020″ Lead foil with black vinyl laminated to one side and PSA with release paper on the other @ 1.50″ wide x 10′- 40′ long. Deliver to an X-ray OEM for assembly of their equipment for sale. The lead items are used to protect operators and patients during medical procedures.
- Cast elevator lead counterweight weights, fabricate complete per sketch provided by customer. Nuclead fabricated lead molds and poured to written specifications. The items are used in new building construction in Boston, MA.
- Fabricate and ship Lead construction package. Nuclead manufactured Lead Plywood, 48.00″ x 96.00″: 1/4″ Lead Sheeting, Bonded for installation purposes only, to; 3/4″ Western fir CDX and Lead Seam Filler Tape for Corners, Utility, Cut-outs &/or Flat seams: 1/8″ x 1.0″ x 50 lbs. (Approx. 75’/coil). The lead products are used as lead soundproofing during Highrise HVAC installations in New York City.

- Cut Lead Sheet: 0.025″ Thick x 6.61″ Wide x 5.31″ Long. Shipped high quantities to an energy company in California. The Nuclead lead products are for battery testing samples. The lead battery product will be used as research & development of new battery technology of the ever-growing battery industry.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: Approx.; Three 7′ long lengths). “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #452001S & #765601S. Deliver lead sold to a general contractor in Ontario Canada for a local restoration project.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: Approx.; Three 7′ long lengths). “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #452001S & #765601S. Deliver to a slate company in Ohio, for a high-rise project in New Jersey. The lead for sale is used as lead waterproofing.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 40′) spool(s). “Type A” = Flat cap; Per U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Historic Preservation Technical Procedures Code: #452001S & #765601S. Sell lead items to a masonry company in West Virginia for stone flashing
Pick and ship 2″ Lead Gutter Outlets @ 30 PCs. /Carton from inventory. Sold to a local distributor that sells the lead gutter outlets to hardware stores nationwide. - Provide several Free Samples of Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1/2″ wide x 7/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: 75′) spool(s). “Type A” = Flat cap. Delivered to Connecticut, Rhode Island and Illinois firms for their engineering approvals. Upon which time, they will be providing larger orders.
- Pick and ship Pure lead Pig ingots, approx. 30#-70# ingots (Approx. size: 3.50″ x 4.00″ x 22.00″, loaf shape). Delivered overseas to Puerto Rico for ship ballast at a local port.
