Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Recent Shipments
- Lead Fabrication of Lead round bar: 2.25″dia. x 9.50″ long, cast lead products. Nuclead has lead for sale, extruded into lead bar, lead rod and lead bar stock. All lead bars price includes certificates conforming to a minimum of QQ-L-171. This order was delivered to Texas via common carrier, consisting of over one ton of pig lead to produce the lead product.
- Laminate lead construction materials into Lead lined sheet rock, 48.00″ x 96.00″: 1/16″ Lead Sheeting, Bonded for installation purposes only, to; 1/2″ sheet rock. Lead drywall are used for construction of lead walls in medical facilities. The lead lined drywall cost depends on lead equivalency and quantities purchased. All lead wall panels and lead lined gypsum board is ship in a flat condition directly to construction sites. This order of lead lined walls was delivered to a vascular facility in Georgia for new x-ray room construction.
- Fabricate and ship Lead lined doors: Wood – Natural Birch, Flush/slab, no panels, 1/16″ Lead x 42.00″ x 80.00″. Lead lined doors and lead lined drywall shields x-rays using nonferrous metals. When using lead lined sheetrock with lead doors it protects operators, people and equipment, it is a safe environment. Nuclead sells lead lined wood doors and lead lined x ray doors with lead lined door frames for full coverage and full protection.
- Fabricate special Cast Lead Tubing: 9.25″ OD x 8.75″ ID x 7.55″ Long. This special lead for sale was delivered to a Utah manufacturer for its own value-added services. The lead pipe rigidity for sale is stiff as fabricated. The lead tube color is a solid grey. Lead sleeves and lead pipe is going tube used as radiation shielding for these applications.
- Nuclead shipped Lead Sheet Packages to several customers last week from Connecticut and California. Lead sheets for sale are primarily used as radiation protection. Lead foil and lead sheeting is also used as lead weight. Lead plates are also used for the same applications, but thicker and stiffer.
- Cut Lead Glass: Provided for customer preparation and assembly. Sold lead glass shielding for radiation protection to cut 12.00″ x 12.00″ x 7-8mm x 1/16″Le x 150kv. Delivered to a medical facility in Minnesota for x ray glass. Lead lined glass is the best choice for this application for weight and cost. Lead glass price is much more economical than other materials like leaded acrylic.
- Manufacture lead pipe: 9.25″ OD x 8.75″ ID x 7.55″ Long. Nuclead manufactures lead tubing, lead sleeves and lead pipe for commercial and industrial use. Nuclead also provided custom lead tube and extruded items to customers written specifications. This particular lead for sale, was shipped via LTL carrier to a machine shop in Utah for unknown value-added services.
- Nuclead picked and shipped lead products from inventory to fill an order of Lead plates: 1″ thick x 30.50″ x 81.467” long. Lead sheet, lead foil and lead plate are common materials to be used as radiation shielding and x-ray shielding. All of Nuclead lead sheets for sale include a lead sheet certification to QQ-l-201-f. Nuclead also sells lead sheets examples for trial and testing before larger orders can be placed if required. This order was delivered to a machine shop in Chicago for unknow value added services.
- Fabricate lead tubing into 2″ Lead Outlets at 30 PCs. /Carton. Sold these lead construction items to a local distributor. The lead for sale with be used as lead restoration materials in old buildings and houses, needing to keep the aesthetic look of the structure intact. Lead in construction, Nuclead uses highest quality standards for these lead building materials.
- Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25 lb. spools. “Type A” = Flat cap. Nuclead provides lead coils and lead wire along with lead construction materials like lead weathercap. This order was delivered via Nuclead Trucking to a general contractor in New York for a lead restoration project.
- Cut Lead sheet: 1/16″ x 8.00″ x 96.00″ and Cut lead rolls Cut Lead sheet: 3/32″ x 10.00″ x 96.00″, and deliver via Nuclead Trucking to an equipment OEM in New England for their production processes. The lead rolls are used as lead weights for its heavy and soft properties. The process starts using pig lead, turning them into lead ingots for extrusion or rolling processes. Upon which, they are transformed into lead counterweights for dead blow hammers used on oil riggs so they do not produce spaces. Nuclead also processed the raw materials into small lead weights and lead weight bars, all from the same lead ingots. Nuclead sells bulk lead orders and small lead orders.
- Pick, in stock Lead sheets 3/32″ thick and CNC machine to customer specifications. Shipped the nonferrous metals product to a company in Silicon Valley that specializes in the distribution of electronic components and military spec fastening hardware. The lead lined container will be used for their customers lead shielding needs. Lead is a good shielding choice for gamma radiation shielding materials.
- Pick and ship Lead Wool per QQ-C-40. The lead wool caulking is shipped to a distributor for re-sale in Indiana. The lead wool for sale was sold in 50# boxes and contained over one thousand pounds for the total order. This lead wool will be used as lead plumbing caulking and lead flashing brick caulking.
