Some of these shipments required significant fabrication activities, some just need to be cut to size or simply picked from our large in-stock inventory of lead products and some require valued added engineering services
Recent Shipments
- CNC Lead Fabrication using Lead sheet: 3/32″ x 48.25″ x 291.00″. Nuclead and their production expects specialize in lead machining, turning lead and lead milling. Machining lead is a difficult process and must be done with safety and Osha regulations taken into consideration. Nuclead follows all State and Federal safety requirements and produces the best lead products available.
- Nuclead is a lead manufacture that can produce 6% Antimony Lead sheet: 3/4″ x 2.50″, cut to 6.50″ (+/- 1/16″). It has in stock Antimonial lead sheet and foil. It also has antimony lead sheeting per AMS-7721. Lead sheets can be provided with and without antimony for the customers applications. The lead for sale can ship within 2 – 3 days and is in stock. Lead sheets for sale can be used as lead weights or radiation shielding. It also has many other uses because of its dense and flexible properties.
- Fabricate and ship, Special lead items of Lead foil: 0.008″ (+/- 0.0005″) x 12.00″ x 50#, per UNS L51121: Rolls were produced from the same lot number. Lead foil, lead sheet and lead sheeting all comply to QQ-L-201-F and certified the same. They can be used as lead plate, lead panels or sheet lead as Krt lead sheeting. This order was delivered and used at Lockheed Martin for radiation protection.
- Cut and ship Lead Lined Glass: Provided for customer preparation and assembly. 13.88″ x 18.38″ x 3.3mm (1/8″) Le x 17mm thick: 200 kV: LX Laminated, 7mm+9mm. Lead X ray Glass for this order was shipped to four different locations after processed by Nuclead. The “Le” designates Lead equivalent glass or lead glass shielding. This order will be used as lead glass for x ray rooms.
- Pick and ship from inventory, Invar Sheet items per ASTM F1684, Annealed Temper: 1/8″ x 4.00″ x 4.00″. This specialty metal is primarily used in the aerospace industry. The order was shipped to a machine shop in New Jersey for their own value-added services. Unlike other lead for sale by Nuclead, Invar is a ferrous metal and lead products are non-ferrous metals.
- Fabricate lead extrusions of Weathercap: 1.00″ wide x 11/16″ joint depth x 25# spools. “Type A” = Flat cap. Lead t caps are used as stone veneer flashing for this order. All lead t’s ad extruded with pure lead per ASTM-B-29 for the highest quality and longest lasting product. The pig lead is processed into lead ingots then extruded. This order was shipped to a masonry coma pay in New England.
- Provide lead products of Lead Extrusions: Weather-T- Caps: 1.50″ wide x 13/16″ joint depth x 25# (Ref: Approx.; Three 7′ long lengths). “Type A” = Flat cap. Sold to a general contractor in New York for restoration projects in the city of historical buildings. All lead for sale at Nuclead is certified to be at the highest quality and purity.
- Cut and deliver Lead Glass: Provided for customer preparation and assembly. Cut to 24.25” x 48.00” x 3.3mm (1/8”) Le x 17mm thick: 200 kV: LX Laminated, 7mm+9mm. This laminated and lead lined glass was delivered to a laboratory in Illinois. X ray lead glass price can vary due to thickness and sizes, so written quotes are required
- Fabricate lead materials and ship 1.25″ Lead Gutter Outlets @ 50 PCs. /Cartons. The lead for sale was sold to a national lumber yard distributor for consumer resale. These lead products are made with pure soft lead tubing and formed into the proper shape. Lead sleeves or tubing is paid with pure, alloy or antimony lead and extruded from lead ingots. Upon which stored into inventory for sales of value-added processes.
- Extruded Lead wire: 7/16″ dia. x 50 lb. spools and deliver to a local laboratory. This customer uses the pure lead wire as a testing benchmark as lead impression wire does. Nuclead has lead extrusions, of lead wire, lead coils, lead ribbon and lead tape per customer specifications or for inventory. We also extrude lead pipe, lead sleeves and lead tubing.
- Pick and ship Pure Lead Pig Ingots, approx. 30#-70# ingots (Approx. size: 3.50″ x 4.00″ x 22.00″, loaf shape). Delivered to a local Mariner for boat ballast. Lead ballast for boasts can be delivered as lead shot ballast, lead pellets for ballast or ballast weights, depending on customer’s needs. On larger vessels, ship ballast can be provided the same or in addition to, using ship ballast brick or ballast tanks for boats. All lead products regardless, got into the vessel keel per local, state, and federal requirements for safety.
