West Bridgewater, MA, 4/26/2022– Nuclead a leading manufacturer and distributor of custom and standard lead products for research, industry and consumers announces the delivery of several recent orders for Lead wire.
Lead wire is Lead extruded into standard or custom sizes 1/32″ to 3/4″ diameter in 50# spools.
Lead wire available in pure or alloyed lead wire rolls and meeting ASTM B29 03 or QQ-L-177e are supplied in lengths ranging from 8 feet to 500 feet (Or longer if required).
Nuclead provides leads extrusions and pure lead wire. As a lead wire manufacturer, it also provides all extruded lead products.
Lead wire is used in a variety of applications in industries such medical, sports, and oil and gas.
Here are recent shipments of lead wire
- Extrude Lead wire: 2mm diameter x 25 lb. spools. These nonferrous metals were delivered to a wholesaler’s customer directly. The pure lead wire was certified per ASTM-B-29. They will be cut into smaller sections and used as lead weight.
- Extrude 3% Antimony/Lead Wire: 1/16″ dia. x 25lb spools. Sold to a lead in large commercial procurement company for resale to a government sub-contractor. The lead coil wire is manufactured into fine lead wire using lead billets. All lead wire manufactured by Nuclead under ½” diameter is sold on spools and coils are sold over ½”.
- Extrude Lead wire: 1/2″ Dia. x 50 lb. spools. Sold Lead products to an oil and gas rig OEM for manufacturing and assembly purposes.
- Lead Extrusions of Lead wire: 5/16″ Dia. x 50 lb. spool. The Lead wire fabricated in coil lead, for assembly in the Nuclead facility. The lead wire is encapsulated in PVC and will bend due to leads soft properties. Nuclead extruded 4 tons for a large order of a repeat customer and shipped the lead materials via LTL carries.
- Extrude lead metal into Lead rod: 7/8″ Dia. x 72.00″. These nonferrous lead bars were delivered to a local machine shop for unknown value-added services. Nuclead sells lead ingots, lead wire lead sheets and lead weights to many manufacturing facilities for their own value-added services.
- Extruded Lead wire: 7/16″ dia. x 50 lb. spools and deliver to a local laboratory. This customer uses the pure lead wire as a testing benchmark as lead impression wire deforms. Nuclead has lead extrusions, of lead wire, lead coils, lead ribbon and lead tape per customer specifications or for inventory. We also extrude lead pipe, lead sleeves and lead tubing.
- Extrude Lead wire: 1/8″ dia. x 25lb spools. Sold to a stored energy systems and technology company for industrial applications. The lead wire is for reserve power and motive power batteries, battery chargers, power equipment, battery accessories and outdoor equipment enclosure systems. As a secondary lead smelter in the US, Nuclead can provide extruded lead products quickly to its customers.
